LFW Past President John Head has had his hit play Dookie adapted into a full length musical called, you guessed it, Dookie: The Musical. The character portrayed in the picture here by Connor McDonald, Steve 'Willie' Williams who is a returned soldier from the Afghanistan War who is grappling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

The show premieres on ANZAC Day and ties back into the Dookie community to honour their fallen WWI heroes, a hundred years on.

First of all - Happy New Year to all of you who have been involved or supported Leading from Within!

We wish you a safe, enjoyable year.

Look out for information about the Launch of the Evaluation of Leading from Within. We are hoping to do this in late February.

This will be an important event in the life of Leading from Within and we will look forward to your support.

Membership - It’s only $10 per year

Leading from Within relies on Membership payments for our official status as a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation, as well as for financial support.

In 2017 Professor Lisa Bourke and Dr. Andrew Hamilton from The University of Melbourne, Department of Rural Health, conducted an Evaluation of Leading from Within. They have validated the efficacy of the program and encourage it’s continuation.

If you will become a member you will receive a copy of their Summary report.

Please consider becoming or renewing your membership to help the organisation to do its very important work assisting trauma recovery and building community resilience.

Details are on the website: www.leadingfromwithin.org.au or contact Pat and Jenny O’Connell on 58211295

Your support means a lot.
